Yomi 2 is a card-based fighting game. Choose a character select a gem to augment them and battle an opponent. As in a traditional fighting game you ll block high and low attacks counter overly defensive players and perform combos of several attacks in a row.Yomi 2 builds on the original game with new mechanics such as gems that alter your character knockdowns that allow for high/low mix-ups, the ability to gain the edge to speed up attacks, and a system that lets you exchange cards from your hand with cards from your discard pile to build your ideal hand.

Yomi is almost 20 years old. It was the first fighting card game and has been a perennial seller for Sirlin Games. Sirlin a former fighting game tournament player who would later become the lead designer of Street Fighter HD Remix dreamed of capturing the essence of fighting games in a way that would allow more people to enjoy them. He developed the game publicly on his forums from 2004 to 2008 and released it in 2009.
