Posted by Well it s in the title. Developed and published by Garage Monkeys the game puts you in the shoes of an amateur mechanic about to break into the used car market. You ll buy barely functioning junkers fix them up and sell them for a profit. Do you have what it takes to become the leader of the used car world or at least of the small town where you liveI ve recently become interested in cars after getting into Top Gear so I wanted to check this game out and get my hands dirty with its repair mechanics. But ugh they used AI for the images on their Steam store page. I already have a low opinion of them, but let’s see if the game itself is any good.

You play as a mechanic working under Little Sam who isn t the most honest man. It s up to you to turn a sad trash-filled possibly rat-infested dump into a respectable used car dealership. It ll take a lot of work and money but what’s more satisfying than becoming a millionaire through hard work There isn t much of a story but I like Little Sam enough to respect him. As for the overall presentation the graphics won t wow you but they re good enough that I wasn t too bothered by the frozen faces. The main focus is really on the cars which can be very detailed and nice to look at.The fact that you can drive them makes it all the better.
Key Features
There is an open world in which you can drive your various automobiles. Much of it is locked off but as you progress you ll gain access to more of the map and unlock bigger shops. The world is fun to explore by car with realistic physics and ramps to jump off just for fun. If I didn t have to worry about bills or fuel I d like to take a casual drive while listening to the radio which has some solid licensed songs. However it can be turned off in the settings via Streamer Mode. That being said there are surprisingly few consequences for driving recklessly. I thought running over people and crashing into things would result in something like losing money or damaging car parts but literally nothing happens other than an amusing ragdoll. It s weird but kind of funny. I mean the goal here is to simulate car dealerships not traffic laws.
