Posted by Ammo and Oxygen is a top-down roguelite shooter developed and published by Juvty Worlds. It was released on Steam Early Access on November 8 2024 and reached version 1.0 on September 7 2025. The trailer looked interesting so I decided to try the game.The story is simple: You wake up alone in a facility on a distant planet (unless you re playing in co-op mode which breaks canon) surrounded by various aliens and corpses. You don t know who you are what happened or if there’s a way out. The answers are out there but you ll have to survive long enough to find them.

This isn t an action-packed romp through an alien world where you gun down anything in your path. It s more like a survival horror game where you must carefully manage your limited resources to make it through each area. Even though you pick up upgrades throughout your playthrough you never feel prepared.Your inventory consists of a melee weapon a pistol a primary gun and an energy weapon. These range from katanas and broken robot arms to SMGs assault rifles grenade launchers rail cannons and a BFG (Big Fatal Gun).
Key Features
Each weapon has its own advantages and disadvantages. The heavier weapons, such as the sniper rifle and minigun reduce your movement speed to a walk. Energy weapons are special because they essentially function as an ultimate ability: something you use to win a fight quickly. They cost electricity to use and can only be equipped for a limited time but they have infinite ammo and are often much more powerful than standard weapons. However it does feel like there isn’t much variety in the selection. I tended to stick to the plainer options. However you will need to pick up new weapons because your options are limited.The main resources you should worry about are ammo and oxygen. Even with upgrades.
